Technical Product Manager, CPU Platform Ecosystem

NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$148,000 - $287,500

About The Position

At NVIDIA, the Technical Product Manager, CPU Platform Ecosystem will define and lead the ecosystem needed to support deployment of NVIDIA data center CPUs alongside GPUs, networking, storage, DPUs, and third-party components. The role has hands-on technical scope across NVIDIA devices, third-party components, firmware, software stacks, and industry standards, with ownership of delivering a platform customers can configure, deploy, and operate with confidence. The position defines supported and qualified platform configurations by product, customer use case, and launch phase, and leads ecosystem enablement, qualification, standards readiness, and cross-functional execution. It coordinates NVIDIA engineering teams and external partners to close interoperability, performance, lifecycle, and readiness gaps. The role also provides concise launch-readiness and executive views of ecosystem coverage and residual risk. The base salary range is $148,000–$235,750 for Level 4 and $184,000–$287,500 for Level 5, depending on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions. The employee is also eligible for equity and benefits. Applications will be accepted at least until October 19, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years in technical product management, platform engineering, systems engineering, validation, product management, or ecosystem enablement.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience delivering server, silicon, embedded, or other complex hardware/software platforms to customers or production.
  • Experience with PCIe devices and server-platform dependencies, including BIOS/UEFI, BMC, firmware, drivers, operating systems, and manageability.
  • Experience running component qualification, compatibility matrices, approved-vendor lists, certification programs, or release-readiness processes.
  • Proven ability to drive closure across many engineering and partner organizations without direct authority.
  • Technical presentation skills and disciplined management of configurations, evidence, issues, and risk.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience qualifying GPUs, accelerators, NICs, storage, DPUs, or other PCIe devices on server platforms.
  • Familiarity with Arm ServerReady, server firmware standards, Linux enablement, or platform certification programs.
  • Direct experience working with OEMs, ODMs, component vendors, or strategic data-center customers.
  • Evidence of building a qualification or ecosystem-readiness system that measurably reduced deployment risk or accelerated customer adoption.
  • Experience working with data center CPUs, accelerated-computing platforms, or deploying production servers.

Responsibilities

  • Define the required platform ecosystem by product, customer use case, and launch phase, specifying what is supported, qualified, planned, or out of scope.
  • Maintain the qualification roadmap and approved-vendor list.
  • Lead enablement and qualification activities for NVIDIA GPUs on PCIe and third-party networking, storage, DPU, accelerator, management-controller, and security components.
  • Drive cross-component dependencies involving BIOS/UEFI, BMC, firmware, drivers, operating systems, telemetry, and manageability, collaborating with component owners to address interoperability, performance, and lifecycle gaps.
  • Lead readiness against platform and ecosystem standards, including Arm ServerReady, with defined test coverage, entry and exit criteria, certification evidence, and reproducible qualification matrices.
  • Run ecosystem-readiness reviews focused on gaps, exceptions, and decisions, and produce concise launch-readiness and executive views of coverage and residual risk.
  • Coordinate execution across CPU platform, firmware, validation, GPU, networking, DPU, storage, OEM/ODM, component-vendor, and customer teams, tracking owners, achievements, dependencies, and blocking issue paths for committed ecosystem items.
