About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to drive strategic planning, Agile delivery, and operational excellence across enterprise Data Engineering initiatives. This role will own and help execute the Data Engineering roadmap, partnering closely with Data Engineering, Data Operations, Product, Analytics, Ad Sales, Marketing, and business leadership to translate enterprise and business priorities into clear, actionable delivery plans. The ideal candidate brings strong technical product/program management experience, high Jira fluency, strong asynchronous communication skills, and the ability to create clarity across complex, cross-functional data platform initiatives. Data Engineering is foundational to how the organization builds products, serves audiences, supports business decisions, and enables scalable growth across its portfolio. This role helps ensure enterprise data initiatives are delivered with focus, transparency, speed, and measurable business impact.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or a similar role in an enterprise, technology-driven environment.
Strong experience with strategic portfolio planning, roadmap management, and cross-functional technical delivery.
Strong relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams, with the ability to understand partner priorities and identify where Data Engineering can provide support.
Strong experience leading Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and hybrid delivery models appropriate for data infrastructure and platform work.
High Jira fluency, including: Backlog refinement, Sprint planning, Ticket hygiene, Dependency tracking, Initiative tracking, Reporting and dashboards
Strong asynchronous communication skills across Slack, Jira, and documentation channels.
Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience partnering with Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Data Operations teams.
Experience working across end-to-end data flow, data quality, and delivery execution.
Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous data needs into actionable execution plans.
Ability to balance strategic portfolio oversight with hands-on program leadership.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to proactively identify risks, blockers, dependencies, and tooling or access requirements.
Ability to operate effectively as priorities, technical complexity, and stakeholder requirements evolve.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the Data Engineering roadmap, translating enterprise priorities into clear delivery plans, releases, backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
Lead Agile delivery for cross-functional data platform and engineering teams, including standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
Refine and maintain Jira backlogs to reflect upcoming initiatives, emergent work, engineering dependencies, and shifting business priorities.
Drive end-to-end program management for complex, multi-quarter data engineering initiatives, ensuring teams have clear priorities, aligned stakeholders, and actionable next steps.
Ensure sprints are populated with high-priority work and that due dates are tracked, followed, and clearly communicated.
Proactively identify risks, blockers, dependencies, access needs, tooling gaps, and cross-team handoffs so engineers can keep work moving.
Partner with stakeholders to understand incoming business and brand requirements and ensure they are appropriately captured, prioritized, and communicated.
Create visibility across initiatives through asynchronous updates, Jira hygiene, executive-level reporting, dashboards, program reviews, portfolio health tracking, and clear stakeholder communications.
Connect engineering execution with broader strategic initiatives and ensure teams have visibility into current priorities and upcoming work.
Balance strategic roadmap oversight with hands-on program leadership and delivery execution.
Facilitate effective communication across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Ad Sales, Marketing, Data Operations, and business stakeholders.
Improve operating rhythms, processes, documentation, governance, and delivery frameworks across Data Engineering.
