About The Position

XiFin is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager or Senior Technical Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of complex, highly technical healthcare SaaS platforms. This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of business, engineering, and architecture and who is comfortable making product decisions in regulated, data-intensive environments. The Role is responsible for translating complex financial, accounting, and regulatory requirements into clear, testable technical specifications that drive compliant, scalable solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, architecture, data, and business stakeholders to define and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable product capabilities. You will be accountable for product outcomes—not just execution—and will play a critical role in shaping platform direction, prioritizing investments, and translating complex requirements into clear technical solutions. Healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred, with financial technology or other compliance-heavy SaaS experience considered a valuable complement. This is an onsite position will be located at our office in San Diego, CA. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future.   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager
  • Proven experience supporting products across the full lifecycle, from discovery and definition through delivery and scale
  • Strong technical fluency, including experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, data pipelines, distributed systems, or cloud-native architectures
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams using modern development practices (e.g., Agile). Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence or similar documentation and backlog management platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting concepts and workflows (e.g., GL, billing, revenue recognition, reconciliation)

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare technology experience (e.g., revenue cycle, diagnostics, interoperability, compliance) strongly preferred
  • Financial technology or other highly regulated SaaS experience considered a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product roadmap for assigned technical platforms or capabilities, aligning business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility
  • Translate complex healthcare requirements into clear, actionable product and technical requirements
  • Partner deeply with engineering and architecture teams to define system design, technical trade-offs, and implementation sequencing
  • Partner with Finance and Compliance to ensure solutions align with applicable regulations and standards, such as FASB-, GAAP-, and SOX-
  • Drive API-first, data-centric, and platform-based product strategies that support scale, interoperability, and extensibility
  • Prioritize backlogs using a balance of customer value, technical risk, compliance needs, and long-term platform health
  • Ensure products meet high standards for security, reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance, including considerations related to PHI and financial data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, compliance, customer success, and go-to-market teams to ensure product readiness and adoption
  • Use data, metrics, and customer insights to inform decisions and continuously improve product outcomes
  • Act as a trusted product partner to cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions through strong product judgment and clear communication.
