About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Product Manager to drive execution of digital product initiatives for specific workstreams and teams across GAM as part of the GAM Digital & Client Technology Solutions team. This role focuses on translating digital strategy into actionable roadmaps and managing end-to-end delivery of digital products. You'll work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital products and platforms in a dynamic, test-and-learn environment that advances RBC GAM's digital transformation objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience with proven track record of full product ownership and delivering complex digital products from concept to scale.
  • Deep collaboration experience with engineering teams in agile environments, including sprint ceremonies and technical discussions.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Financial acumen including ability to develop business cases, understand P&L implications, and communicate digital product value in financial terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions, manage competing priorities independently, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with test-and-learn methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and translate vision into executable roadmaps.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years delivering digital transformation products in financial services or regulated industries, particularly wealth management or asset management.
  • Product Owner or Scrum Product Owner certification.
  • Proficiency with agile methodologies, Jira, and product analytics tools.
  • Technical background with ability to engage in architecture discussions and understanding of data/analytics systems and processes.
  • Experience working across multiple teams in a matrixed environment with proven ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate, and manage change.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and execution for assigned digital transformation workstreams, translating strategic vision into detailed product requirements, timelines, and delivery milestones.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker for product priorities, feature trade-offs, and release planning.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle from ideation through sunset.
  • Partner daily with engineering teams on sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical feasibility.
  • Write and review user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Define and own success metrics, establishing KPIs and driving accountability for product performance and outcomes.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach, designing and executing experiments to validate hypotheses and rapidly iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with design, research, and engineering specialists to incorporate user insights and competitive analysis into product decisions.
  • Articulate product vision and value proposition for diverse audiences including executives and cross-functional teams through compelling presentations and data visualization.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units to ensure alignment on product direction and foster collaboration between cross-functional team members.
