About The Position

Evinova, a global health-tech business within the AstraZeneca Group, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the Unify Reporting, Dashboards, and Analytics (URD) product. Unify is a digital platform designed to streamline clinical trials. The URD product serves as the primary source of truth for study teams, sites, and sponsors, providing governed, reliable, and actionable insights derived from trial data. A key focus will be on compliance dashboards that ensure trials are conducted accurately and safely. The role aims to replace manual data exports and study-specific dashboard rebuilds with standardized, plug-and-play analytics that deliver immediate insights upon login.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in product management, specifically with data, analytics, BI, or reporting products.
  • Strong data proficiency, including comfort with data modeling, metric definitions, reading and reasoning about SQL, and hands-on collaboration with engineers and analysts on pipelines and warehouses.
  • Experience with BI/dashboarding tools (e.g., Superset, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) and an understanding of user-friendly and trusted dashboard design.
  • Experience with metric governance, establishing consistent metrics, and a single source of truth.
  • Familiarity with regulated-data concepts such as data integrity, audit trails, and standards like 21 CFR Part 11, or the ability to quickly learn them.
  • Proven ability in prioritization under constraint, incremental shipping, and making evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaborator leadership skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and explain data decisions to both technical and executive audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of clinical-trial or healthcare data and relevant compliance measures.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and pipelines (e.g., data warehouse/lake, object storage, relational databases).
  • Experience responsibly bringing AI or natural-language analytics to production.
  • Experience with multi-tenant (SaaS) analytics and region-specific data-residency requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the product vision and roadmap for URD, encompassing compliance and operational dashboards, as well as sponsor-facing insights.
  • Prioritize the development of compliance dashboards, including participant compliance, site compliance, questionnaire responses, safety instruments, data changes, and study close-out, to provide real-time trial conduct and quality monitoring.
  • Establish a governed metric layer to ensure a single source of truth with clearly defined and agreed-upon metrics for consistent and trusted reporting.
  • Develop plug-and-play, role-aware dashboards that automatically configure to study builds and provide tailored information to different user roles (site, sponsor, internal) without custom development.
  • Ensure data trust and integrity by implementing signals for data freshness, quality checks, traceability, and adherence to regulated-data expectations like audit trails and 21 CFR Part 11 principles.
  • Collaborate with engineering on the reporting data pipeline (URDP) and warehouse to ensure timely, accurate, and scalable analytics.
  • Shape capabilities for AI-assisted analytics, such as a reporting assistant that allows users to query data across studies in natural language.
  • Support multi-customer and region-specific needs, including China-hosted analytics, balancing global consistency with local requirements.
  • Maintain a single, prioritized backlog, making transparent trade-offs between new features, quality improvements, and platform investments, and measuring success by adoption and trust.

  • Short-term incentive bonus opportunity
  • Equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles)
  • Retirement contribution (hourly roles)
  • Commission payment eligibility (sales roles)
  • Qualified retirement program (401(k) plan)
