About The Position

The Aladdin Product team develops and evolves BlackRock’s end-to-end investment platform, which supports investment management, trading, operations, accounting, and risk workflows across the investment lifecycle. The team works closely with engineering, data, infrastructure, operations, and client-facing partners to translate complex financial technology needs into scalable platform capabilities. As a Vice President on the Aladdin Product team, you will operate at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) development, technology delivery, and client partnership. You will own critical workstreams, influence product strategy, and help deliver complex technology solutions for a growing and diverse client base. Working with distributed engineering and data teams, you will translate client and business challenges into clear product priorities and scalable solutions. This role is suited to a product leader who brings strong AI acumen, financial technology experience, and an interest in solving complex problems at scale.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in technical product management within enterprise or software as a service (SaaS) environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and engineering insights into clear business-impact narratives.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and enterprise system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), application programming interfaces (APIs), or prototyping tools.
  • Exposure to regulated technology environments, including Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)-compliant systems.
  • Experience applying data-driven product discovery and experimentation methods.
  • Experience partnering with risk, compliance, security, or legal stakeholders to deliver enterprise technology in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy aligned with organizational objectives, translating competing priorities into actionable roadmaps and cross-team prioritization decisions.
  • Lead the development and adoption of AI-powered enterprise solutions and internal tools that scale automation and reduce manual operational effort.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, operations, vendors, and distributed teams to align technology delivery and translate technical insights into executive-level narratives.
  • Conduct user discovery and stakeholder interviews, synthesize signals using analytics and AI, and develop reporting frameworks that inform leadership decisions.
  • Drive the adoption of alternative solutions in regulated environments and design scalable workflows, governance frameworks, and operating models.
  • Improve engineering productivity and capacity allocation while ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance throughout product delivery.
