About The Position

The position is part of the Global TASKI Purchasing Organization and is responsible for sourcing Floor Care Machine components and finished goods for TASKI NAM based at our TASKI / NSS factory in Toledo, Ohio, managing $10–20M annual spend, with direct impact on product cost, supplier innovation, and supply continuity. Works within a $100M global FCM category and team aligned with global strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Engineering
  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical procurement or sourcing; global sourcing experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated technical sourcing experience in: Electrical / electronic components (PCBs, batteries, chargers, wiring harnesses)
  • Demonstrated technical sourcing experience in: Mechanical components (plastic injection molding, metal fabrication)
  • Ability to assess manufacturing processes and identify design‑for‑cost opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Procurement
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
  • Results‑driven with a structured, action‑oriented mindset
  • Confident communicator able to facilitate cross‑functional decision‑making
  • Experience working with SAP and strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead NAM sourcing for electronic and mechanical components and finished goods following global sourcing methodology
  • Define and implement 1–3 year sourcing strategies, supplier selections, contracts, and commercial terms
  • Scout, assess, and technically evaluate suppliers and manufacturing processes
  • Support inflation outlooks and market intelligence for key commodities
  • Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives meeting savings targets
  • Manage pricing, contracts, and cost updates in SAP
  • Monitor and drive supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, sustainability)
  • Actively manage supply risks and escalation topics
  • Participate in global and regional new product development (NPD) and launch projects
  • Partner closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing on design changes, dual sourcing, and portfolio optimizations
  • Support innovation by enabling supplier-led technical solutions
