About The Position

abra is seeking a Technical Procurement Buyer to manage and lead procurement processes for mechanical and electronic components. This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers, conducting negotiations, leading cost-reduction initiatives, and ensuring procurement meets technical specifications. The buyer will create purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and collaborate with internal departments and international suppliers. This is a full-time position based in Rishon LeZion.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical procurement of mechanical components, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and raw materials, as well as electronic components – required.
• Proven experience in commercial negotiations and independently managing procurement processes – required.
• Practical experience with import/export processes and international shipping – required.
• Ability to understand and work with technical specifications and engineering requirements – required.
• Good English proficiency, both written and spoken – required.

Responsibilities

• Managing and leading procurement processes for mechanical components, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and raw materials, as well as electronic components.
• Sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad.
• Requesting and reviewing quotations, conducting comparisons, and managing commercial and technical negotiations.
• Leading cost-reduction initiatives and improving procurement terms while maintaining quality and availability.
• Working with technical specifications and engineering requirements to ensure procurement meets the company’s needs.
• Creating purchase orders and continuously monitoring deliveries, lead times, and shortages.
• Working closely with internal departments, including Engineering, Production, Production Planning & Control (PPC), Quality, and Finance.
• Working with international suppliers and freight forwarders, and supporting import and export processes.
