About The Position

Join our dynamic team in Lexington, KY as a Buyer/Procurement Analyst and take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process for critical manufacturing programs. In this fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will be the primary point of contact for sourcing, scheduling, and material movement, supporting both front-end and back-end procurement activities. Requirements

• Minimum 15 years in buyer, procurement, or supply chain analyst roles.
• Advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups and data analysis).
• Proven track record in problem-solving and critical thinking within procurement or supply chain environments.
• Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience presenting to leadership and preparing performance metrics.
• Effective cross-functional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience supporting program kick-offs, configuration control, and program assessment meetings.
• Demonstrated success managing competing priorities across diverse business areas.
• Familiarity with resolving invoicing and accounts payable discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Source, plan, and coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production lifecycle.
• Analyze engineering and production specifications to determine procurement requirements and build effective schedules.
• Serve as the go-to GSC planning contact for assigned programs, supporting proposal development and presenting performance metrics to leadership.
• Operate and manage multiple Excel-based reports to track team and supplier performance.
• Partner with product teams, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and issue resolution.
• Lead communications for urgent procurement needs, expedite purchase orders, and manage material delivery timelines.
• Resolve procurement blockages, frustrated materials, and accounts payable issues with cross-functional teams.
• Cultivate advanced vendor and supplier relationships to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
