The Technical Operator role will make an impact by performing and/or verifying all equipment related set-up activities, assuring that the set-up is conducted per SOP’s and related instructions. This role ensures that the appropriate product dedicated equipment, kits, tooling, idlers, etc. are utilized for the process and that all process related equipment and change parts are cleaned according to procedure and are in good repair, prior to set-up activities and following batch runs. The operator will also perform and/or verify all required system related checks, sensor checks, start-up/shift checks/testing prior to processing and assures that all results meet specification and are well-centered within control ranges. They will monitor run performance of equipment through monitoring CPPs, KPPs, in-process quality checks/testing, yields, and overall run efficiencies to identify any adverse trends and/or failures of the equipment and/or control systems. This role responds to all equipment faults, alarms, jams, etc. to identify cause and remediate, making appropriate adjustments when necessary. The Technical Operator will lead equipment related problem solving and troubleshooting with Lead Operator and support groups and assures required actions are taken to resolve issues and return the equipment to operating conditions. They will assist with equipment PMs and calibrations, as needed, and participate in defining user requirements for new systems and the execution of equipment/system IQ, OQ, PQ’s. This role supports content creation/review of technical instructions and training documents, provides oversight of training on technical-related tasks on the production lines, and offers technical input into events or investigations on routine equipment/systems issues including assisting in identifying potential root causes and assisting in corrective and preventative actions. The operator works with Engineering Production Support and QA Validation in the recommendation, implementation and qualification of equipment and controls improvements as requested and participates in the execution of technical studies as needed. They may perform other assigned duties in alignment with current training (i.e. may serve as back-up to Senior Operator/Lead Operator roles) and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience and a High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • A technical degree/certification and three (3) years relevant experience preferred.
  • However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
