  • Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Attention to detail and strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to organize, execute, and report on an inventory management exercise for biological samples
  • Understanding of biological materials such as plasmids, cell samples, protein samples, and cell lines and ability to recognize standard labeling conventions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work across multiple priorities
  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support a key inventory management initiative focused on gene therapy R and D and CMC development materials at an external storage vendor.
  • Gain exposure to Technical Operations and Development processes including project management, technical documentation, and study support.
  • Organize, categorize, and streamline biological materials such as cells, plasmids, and development samples.
  • Partner with Technical Operations, Development, and Quality teams to ensure materials are properly labeled and maintained.
  • Participate in team meetings, provide updates on work, and gain insight into how operational discipline supports successful development programs.
