Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in regulatory/permitting, finance, project controls, engineering and/or project management experience, as well as a minimum of 5 years people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership position managing cross-functional teams for large, complex projects involving internal and external partners.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. This includes being able to effectively with executive, peers, and collaborators, including experience with Executive presentations and interactions.
  • Well-developed diplomacy and leadership skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of management levels, coupled with an ability to raise and provide solutions for complex and often competing business issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized, innovative, take initiative, lead and manage change.

Responsibilities

  • Provide governance on Enbridge Joint Venture (JV) for projects in execution, ensuring issues are illuminated timely, risks are appropriately managed, resolutions advanced, and Enbridge’s interests protected.
  • Monitor, influence, and provide internal reporting of status and progress for Joint Venture (JV) project(s).
  • Actively lead and coordinate the early execution of sophisticated projects in development with interim funding or transitioning into execution, that delivers significant value to the organization.
  • Represent the enterprise externally, as required, within a dynamic and fluid environment.
  • Manage communications between multi-disciplinary team members to promote project wide teamwork using effective communication tools including project management tools.
  • Advance project execution planning and leadership through influence in working with a diverse group of leaders and collaborators, delivering internal sponsor results.
