About The Position

This role involves leading a team of architects and consultants to ensure balanced workloads, collaboration, and technical excellence in the Integrated Delivery - HCM domain. The Technical Manager will drive performance standards across development, deployment, and operations by defining benchmarks, validating architectures, and optimizing Blue Yonder solutions. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance for solution design, environment setup, configuration, and deployment, advising implementation teams on best practices for scalable and high-performing customer solutions, and leading technical implementation communications with various stakeholders including Sales, Partners, Customers, and Internal Teams. The role also requires providing inputs to project managers for planning, estimation, and risk assessment, and driving performance innovation through best practice sharing and process improvements. A significant part of the role involves designing and executing performance test strategies using tools like JMeter, Groovy, and Python, conducting various load tests, and utilizing performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk to identify and resolve performance issues. Additionally, the Technical Manager will perform architecture and health reviews for products like WFM and SCPO, evaluate hardware utilization, database performance, and custom code efficiency, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during Go-Live to provide proactive analysis and support for stable production deployment. Collaboration with Product Development, Cloud Operations, Consulting, and Support teams is crucial for issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Performance Analyst, Software Architect, or a related/similar position.
  • 5 years of experience involving Technical Leadership including Analytical Skill, Problem Solving, and Subject Matter Expertise support to cross team members.
  • 5 years of experience involving Performance Testing and Tuning.
  • 5 years of experience involving JMeter, AppDynamics, Splunk, NeoLoad Nmon, Permon, Fiddler, WireShark, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Oracle DB Analysis, Postgress SQL analysis, and SQL Tuning.
  • 5 years of experience involving Python, Groovy, Java, Perl, Shell, and JavaScript.
  • 5 years of experience involving Supply Chain Management.
  • 5 years of experience involving Microservices based applications.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Cycle.
  • Experience with WFM (Workforce Management) and SCPO (Supply Chain Planning & Optimization) products.

  • Design and execute performance test strategies using JMeter, Groovy, Python, and related tools to simulate workloads and measure system throughput and response times.
  • Conduct peak, average, stress, and endurance load tests to baseline and evaluate environment performance.
  • Utilize performance monitoring and profiling tools to detect, isolate, and resolve performance issues.
  • Perform architecture and health reviews for products like WFM (Workforce Management) and SCPO (Supply Chain Planning & Optimization).
  • Evaluate hardware utilization, database performance, and custom code efficiency, including APE and SRE components.
  • Act as SME during Go-Live, providing proactive analysis, debugging, and resolution support for stable production deployment.
  • Collaborate across Product Development, Cloud Operations, Consulting, and Support to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
