Sea Colony Recreational, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Technical Maintenance Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Sea Colony consists of more than 2,200 condominiums, spacious town homes and private single-family homes. The community offers an unparalleled array of amenities - 12 heated pools (including two indoor pools), a fitness center with a gym and weightroom, a beach, a tennis and pickleball court, as well as a tram system that goes around the community.

The Tech Maintenance Assistant is directly responsible for the daily maintenance of all buildings, assets, and mechanical systems including grounds, landscaping, buildings, pools, tennis courts, beach, trams, furniture, and fixtures. The individual is also responsible for all repair and maintenance of said assets and systems that are generally and customarily required to be executed by maintenance personnel at a high-end resort.

Requirements

• Experience in clay tennis court maintenance or the willingness to learn how to properly maintain clay courts.
• Proficient with computer technology and standard software programs including work order placement and tracking, spreadsheet, and word processing.
• Experience with pool maintenance or the willingness to learn how to properly maintain pool.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to interact professionally with all departments, outside contractors.
• Will present him/herself as a professional.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and at times in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• From time to time, this job involves manual labor including power washing, digging, lifting, climbing, hauling, taking out trash, and other tasks.
• The ideal candidate will possess a level of physical fitness enabling him or her to lift up to 100 lbs.
