Requirements

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent degree required
  • 3+ years supervisory experience required
  • Ability to perform technical equipment / process troubleshooting and problem solving required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (i.e. engineering, science, etc) preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to obtain green badge/electrical certification required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate Lens Fabrication employees and contractors to drive operational performance to meet on-time delivery and clinical supply requirements.
  • Provide coaching, training, development plans, and performance guidance to direct reports to build technical capability and operational excellence within the team.
  • Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, manufacturing processes, software, and facilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development and design engineering, to support the design-build-test lifecycle and successful product introduction.
  • Plans, directs and implements continuous improvement actions.
  • Develop and implement data-driven action plans to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Reinforce a culture of compliance, accountability, and Credo-based decision-making.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
