About The Position

Yahara is hiring a Technical Lead to own the technical delivery of a project team serving scientific organizations, including life sciences startups, CROs, lab software teams, and scientific instrument makers. The role is responsible for the quality, pace, and technical direction of project work, partnering with project managers, requirements engineers, and QA to turn client needs into working systems. This is a technical leadership position centered on project ownership and mentorship; people management is handled by engineering managers. The Technical Lead will make project-level architecture decisions, design and deliver cloud applications, uphold engineering and testing practices, and communicate project status, decisions, and risks to clients. The team uses strong engineering fundamentals and may use AI tools to speed delivery while retaining responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and understanding of shipped code. This is a full-time, salaried hybrid position based out of Yahara’s Madison, Wisconsin office. The company is unable to provide sponsorship; candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the U.S. and able to work on-site in the Madison office.
