About The Position

EY Technology Consulting is a fast-moving and high-growth area within EY. We are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. We are looking for an individual who combines experience leading SAP projects with an aptitude for driving sales pursuits and for helping grow our business. Requirements

  • BSc in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
  • 10+ Years experience working in SAP technologies - leading Development, Integration, Basis teams, with minimum 3 S/4 HANA implementations.
  • Experience in a technical architecture role in at least one project, overseeing end‑to‑end SAP technology areas including Development, Integration, Basis, Security, Cloud ALM, Signavio, and Infrastructure.
  • Experience in SAP Solutions Architecture specializing in ABAP integration designs end-to-end technical landscapes, bridging business requirements with SAP S/4HANA functionality, BTP, and legacy systems.
  • SAP ABAP experience with all RICEFW object types, SAP Fiori development and extensions using Business Application Studio preferred.
  • SAP Integration experience specifically in BTP with experience in API strategies, middleware approaches (BTP IS/BDC/Datasphere, CI-DS) ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance integration.
  • SAP Basis experience able to drive infrastructure discussions related to S/W or H/W requirements, with the client and with SAP team.
  • Master of Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall/Agile) and Dev-Ops (CI/CD).
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis.
  • Daily interaction with the client at many levels.
  • Practical experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of SAP’s Rise Validated Methodology toolchain (Signavio, Cloud ALM, and LeanIX).

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to transform their business challenges into solutions using SAP technologies.
  • Provide SAP development and integration expertise and services for the design and delivery (build, test, run) of SAP custom solutions.
  • Provide leadership, oversight and mentorship for junior team members, including support building out the development and integration practice.
  • Influence projects, vendors and/or SIs to ensure they are aligned with approved methods and delivery standards.
  • Effectively lead the team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
  • Participate in large scale SAP client engagements.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manage expectations of client service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements presenting custom solution options for addressing the gaps in standard functionality; associated complexity and effort estimates.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Design SAP innovative custom solutions that are based on best and/or leading practices.
  • Build and code solutions and frameworks ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle and SAP Clean Core development guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure highest quality solutions using code reviews, technical and performance testing.
  • Provide technical leadership and advice to client counterparts.
  • Operate on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Operate and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Present and lead client workshops on key technical topics.
  • Influence and/or convince leaders and decision makers.
  • Communicate all solution design and concepts to implementation teams.
  • Work both in a team environment and independently.
