This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights, KY. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Requirements

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 6 years). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Basic understanding of GLP/GCP
Familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
Familiar with environmental monitoring systems
Effective time management and project management skills
Good leadership abilities
Detail-oriented mindset
Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to work in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

Coordinate major sample events, directing sample management and laboratory staff in a functional area.
Decipher complex protocols and ensure the validity of sample requests and adherence to secure and robust sample handling processes in a dynamic environment.
Support risk assessment and design of sample handling practices.
Perform any or all Sample Coordinator functions, including oversight and execution of a variety of complex standard and sample tasks (receipt, accessioning, routing, storage, aliquoting, shipping, discard, destruction, etc.) in support of the Sample Management department.
Act as back-up in the absence of management and serve as a technical liaison for project-specific sample management procedures.
Respond to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities.
Perform work assignments accurately, timely, and safely.
