About The Position
Adastra is seeking a Technical Lead/Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of data and analytics initiatives. This role requires a results-oriented professional who can proactively manage execution, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes. The Technical Lead/PM will collaborate closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and business partners to manage delivery, resolve blockers, assess technical risks, and maintain project momentum.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading technical projects, preferably within data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence environments
- Strong experience managing end-to-end technical project delivery from planning through implementation
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve delivery challenges
- Experience working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders in complex project environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to assess technical risks, timelines, estimates, and dependencies effectively
- Experience driving accountability and delivering projects within defined timelines
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Experience delivering data platforms, analytics solutions, or BI initiatives
- Previous experience working within large enterprise environments
- Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and project management practices
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects, from planning through implementation
- Drive project execution by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum
- Translate business requirements into clear technical plans in collaboration with engineering teams
- Assess technical risks, timelines, estimates, and delivery approaches with sufficient technical depth to challenge assumptions where required
- Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure accountability across project teams to achieve defined outcomes, milestones, and deadlines
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to support successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues impacting scope, schedule, or quality
