About The Position

Wipro Limited is hiring a Technical Lead L1 for AS400 programming. The role requires strong experience in the IBM AS400 (IBM iSeries) environment, including RPG and CL development, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400, and Query/400. The position also involves application support and incident management, job scheduling, batch processing, performance tuning, source control, and change management. The expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, with final compensation depending on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

• Strong experience in the IBM AS400 (IBM iSeries) environment.
• Proficiency in RPG III / RPG IV, RPGLE / Free Format RPG, CL Programming (CLP/CLLE), SQLRPGLE, DB2/400, and Query/400.
• Experience with application support and incident management.
• Knowledge of job scheduling, batch processing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with source control and change management tools.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AS400 experience is mandatory.
• 5–8 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with APIs, Web Services, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of modernization tools and cloud migration strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL processes.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, banking, or retail domains.
