Technical Intelligence Analyst, Consulting
About The Position
Apogee is seeking a Technical Intelligence Analyst, Consulting to provide analytical support to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The role supports the application and advancement of intelligence disciplines including Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), and Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME). NASIC’s mission is to discover and characterize air, space, missile, and cyber threats to enable full-spectrum, multi-domain operations, support weapon system acquisition, and inform national defense policy. The position contributes to NASIC’s engineering-level scientific and technical intelligence mission. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The position is contingent upon contract award and includes occasional travel.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) adjudication.
- Ph.D. degree.
- 15 years of experience providing analytical support for Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) organizations.
- Very strong research and analysis skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction.
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
- Open to occasional travel.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform total life cycle systems analyses, including technical studies, analysis of alternatives, planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability.
- Conduct system product analyses covering concepts, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Perform trade studies considering functional, cost, schedule, and risk factors.
- Execute requirements allocation and interface definition activities to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Develop and present briefings to senior personnel.
