About The Position

Apogee is seeking a Technical Intelligence Analyst Apprentice to provide analytical support to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The role supports the application and advancement of intelligence disciplines including Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), and Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME). NASIC discovers and characterizes air, space, missile, and cyber threats to support multi-domain operations, weapon system acquisition, and national defense policy. This full-time position is based onsite at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) adjudication.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Six years of experience providing analytical support for DoD and/or Intelligence Community organizations.
• Very strong research and analysis skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction.
• Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
• Open to occasional travel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform total life cycle systems analyses, including technical studies, analysis of alternatives, planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability.
• Conduct system product analyses covering concepts, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Perform trade studies considering functional, cost, schedule, and risk factors.
• Execute requirements allocation and interface definition activities, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Develop and present briefings to senior personnel.
