About The Position

The Technical Inspector will support the various projects located in New Orleans, LA. This position is focused primarily on Technical Inspection. The Technical Inspector will implement predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. They will use various measuring devices, accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems, and work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. This role may also monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have 3+ years of recent and related work experience.
  • Inspection experience with methods such as scale/micrometer and torque tools.
  • Experience with SAP/VECAMS.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS.
  • Must be team players with strong work ethics and must be culture oriented.
  • Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, with internal and external customers.
  • Able to follow company programs, processes, procedures, practices, requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Must be organized with good time management skills.
  • Must be able to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • In lieu of degree: Candidates with 7+ years of recent and related experience will be considered.
