About The Position

The Technical Quality Assurance Inspector I is responsible for developing the ability to perform inspections of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting visual and dimensional and inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. The inspector will work with more senior inspectors to begin the process of the ability to interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies. In this role, you will perform mainly supervised inspections of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process and conduct visual and dimensional inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies, or final system assemblies. You will interpret prints with oversight of manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, document inspection results, and maintain accurate records. You will communicate inspection findings to relevant stakeholders and utilize Microsoft Office suite tools for documentation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Typically, entry-level 0 - 1 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools.
  • Experience following work instructions and SOPs.
  • Demonstrated ability to correctly use hand tools and equipment.
  • U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
