About The Position

Unisity, LLC is seeking a Technical Expert/Functional Expert (Network) to provide expert services in Information Technology. The role involves providing Network support that requires system level design, architecture, enterprise security, security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls across three supported locations. The ideal candidate will be a highly-qualified, self-driven professional who works towards a common goal as a team.

Requirements

  • 10 years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 15 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
  • Datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
  • United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Responsibilities

  • Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).
  • Install, configure, and support Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).
  • Perform physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
  • Provide expert level support including physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based).
  • Design and architect enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.
  • Design and architect enterprise security boundaries and datacenters.
  • Create system diagrams and present high-level presentations to management.
  • Utilize packet capture software.
