About The Position

This role is part of the digital solutions team, which leads the way in developing next-generation climate technology focused on reducing demand-side energy consumption and emissions. The team combines technical expertise with advanced analytics to create data-driven solutions that add real value for customers, communities, and the planet. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for using their ServiceNow knowledge and programming abilities to solve client issues, answer product questions, and plan, design, and configure enhancement requests.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • 2+ years writing and debugging in an object-oriented language (JavaScript, Java, C#) or any full-stack web development framework
  • 1+ year working as a Developer in ServiceNow or 2+ years as a SN Admin
  • Fundamental understanding of ITSM/ITIL (Change Management, Incident Management)
  • CMDB (CI's, CMDB Architecture)
  • Business Application Development (Scoped application development)
  • SN's APIs, (g_form, g_user, Glide Record, Glide Ajax, etc.)
  • Client Scripts, UI Policies/UI Policy Actions, UI Actions

Responsibilities

  • Assigning cases within the Technical Engineering Team (5%)
  • Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical systems and code (60%)
  • Communicating with Clients on daily basis (10%)
  • Documenting Client interactions, code/configuration changes, next steps (15%)
  • Continually learning both SN and Nuvolo products and customer implementations (10%)
