About The Position

The Technical Displays Co-op supports the design, development, assembly, wiring, and programming of product display boards and functional automated demonstrations used for trade shows, sales activities, and customer engagement. This role provides hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies while developing technical, organizational, and project coordination skills in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a technical degree program, preferably Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Visio and/or SolidWorks preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, experience using basic hand tools, and an interest in hands-on technical work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, assembly, wiring, and programming of product display boards and functional automated demonstrations.
• Develop new and maintain existing sales demonstration materials and supporting documentation, including exhibit user manuals, demo sheets, bills of material, and other required documentation.
• Support trade show preparation and execution activities under the direction of the Technical Displays team.
• Assist with the setup, testing, organization, and maintenance of technical demonstration equipment and displays.
• Attend technical training sessions and apply learned concepts to assigned projects.
• Assist other employees in the accomplishment of their assigned responsibilities as requested.
