About The Position

Lovelytics is seeking a Technical Director of Solutions to join their Manufacturing practice. This role will serve as the industry expert and solution architect, leading technical strategy on key engagements and the industry's asset roadmap. The position involves partnering with the IP team to prioritize, build, and package sellable assets into offerings, and supporting industry marketing through POVs, blogs, and accelerator adoption. Requirements

  • 10+ years in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, or a related technical discipline, with meaningful time spent in a client-facing solution architecture role focused on Manufacturing.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and the broader cloud data ecosystem (AWS/Azure/GCP) — including data engineering, data governance, and, where relevant, ML/GenAI capabilities ,sufficient to act as the technical authority on an engagement.
  • Track record serving as solution architect and/or technical lead on complex, high-stakes client engagements, with accountability for technical direction and delivery outcomes.
  • Pre-sales experience, scoping, estimating, and presenting technical solutions to prospective clients, including comfort presenting to executive and C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience owning a product, backlog, or asset roadmap, ideally translating repeatable delivery work into reusable, sellable IP (accelerators, frameworks, templates) in partnership with a product/IP function.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, and go-to-market teams to package technical capabilities into marketable offerings.
  • Strong technical QA instincts, able to review solutions designed by others against best practices, feasibility, and reusability standards, and give direct, credible feedback without formal authority over the team involved.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing architecture documentation, technical proposals, and executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Technical Subject Matter Expert for the industry, acting as solution architect and technical lead/SME on the industry's most important deals
  • Interface with technical leaders across industry accounts to build and maintain strategic relationships
  • Act as product and requirements owner for backlogged assets, partnering with the IP team on solutioning, build, and project management
  • Drive adoption of company accelerators across engagements to improve delivery efficiency
  • Oversee pre-sales standards and provide QA review of recommended technical solutions across industry projects
  • Own the industry's asset roadmap, prioritizing sellable and reusable assets in partnership with the IP team
  • Collaborate with the Industry teams to package assets into sellable offerings and support their go-to-market
