About The Position

The Technical Designer will support the design, development, and production of women’s apparel, working closely with overseas factories to ensure designs are accurately executed from concept through production. The role is suited to an experienced, detail-oriented, organized, and technologically savvy professional with knowledge of technical design and garment construction. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaborating with others in a fast-paced office environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical design for women’s clothing.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and production processes.
• Hands-on experience creating and working with tech packs.
• Proven experience communicating directly with overseas factories throughout the sampling and production process.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed tech packs for women’s clothing.
• Communicate regularly with overseas factories about designs, specifications, samples, revisions, and production requirements.
• Oversee aspects of the design, development, and manufacturing process.
• Review samples, identify necessary adjustments, and communicate corrections to factories.
• Ensure designs are accurately translated into finished garments.
• Manage multiple projects, stay organized, and meet production deadlines.
