About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Technical Designer - Outlet Men's Knits in New York, NY. This role is responsible for the development, fit, construction, and execution of products from development through fit approval. The Technical Designer will partner closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and overseas vendors to ensure products meet fit, quality, cost, and calendar objectives. Key components of the role include creating and maintaining technical packages in Centric PLM, leading fit sessions, evaluating garment fit, and providing clear technical comments to vendors. The role also involves reviewing samples, pattern corrections, and construction details to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved, partnering with cross-functional teams and global vendors to support on-time product development, managing multiple seasons while meeting key development milestones, and proactively identifying technical risks. Additionally, the Technical Designer will support the continuous improvement of fit standards, construction, and technical processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Technical Design experience in knit apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit.
• Experience with Centric PLM (or similar), Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
