About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Technical Designer - Outlet Men's Knits in New York, NY. This role is responsible for the development, fit, construction, and execution of products from development through fit approval. The Technical Designer partners closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and overseas vendors to ensure products meet fit, quality, cost, and calendar objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Technical Design experience in knit apparel.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit.
• Experience with Centric PLM (or similar), Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical packages in Centric PLM.
• Lead fit sessions, evaluate garment fit, and provide clear technical comments to vendors.
• Review samples, pattern corrections, and construction details to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and global vendors to support on-time product development.
• Manage multiple seasons while meeting key development milestones and proactively identifying technical risks.
• Support continuous improvement of fit standards, construction, and technical processes.
