Strong program/project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors. Demonstrated experience supporting Portfolio Planning process including program definition and scoping, estimating, and planning new initiatives. Technical knowledge with hands-on experience, managing application development. Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing technical staff and financial resources through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience highly desirable). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment. Identify and mitigate project risks, and escalate issues to senior management as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards are followed by projects w/n the program. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors as needed. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project progress and status to stakeholders. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to improve program and project management across the organization. Demonstrated ability to mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Experience in Effective Application Development Project Implementation / Deployment strategies with a customer base distributed throughout the world.
  • Experience in highly parallel work environments with projects utilizing iterative, agile, and waterfall approaches to achieve their objectives.
  • Experience in both business transformation and information technology projects is required.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
