Reporting to the Major Projects Leader, and working collaboratively with the Major Projects Director APD, the Technical Delivery Director is responsible and accountable to drive best-in-class project delivery and leading overall project execution and resourcing for the Infrastructure Major Projects Group. The position includes accountability for the design management and delivery team, and the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Manager, and overseeing the technical delivery, resource planning, digital delivery, QA/QC, and HSSE programs, to deliver high quality, technically excellent projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable technical, business, or professional degree
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collaborating with Major Project Director of Alternative Project Delivery to ensure adequate staffing and delivery or pursuits and projects.
• Work with the Major Project Director of Alternative Project Delivery and Major Project Leads to facilitate assignment of the Design Manager and technical resources during the pursuit, delivery, and construction phases.
• Facilitate assignment of the Quality Management and Technology Management resources during the pursuit and project delivery phases.
• Create and lead high performing Design Management and technical teams to meet delivery, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Create high performing teams that effectively collaborate to deliver projects across Infrastructure as well as cross-BOU projects.
• Responsible for overall project resource planning and coordination on major projects.
• Perform role of Design Manager and/or Principal-in-charge on certain pursuits and projects.
