About The Position

The Technical Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements from business stakeholders, analyzing existing data within applications and data systems, identifying data sources and targets, and determining necessary mappings and transformations. This role involves documenting and explaining these requirements to the IT delivery team for implementation in the Lumina Data Platform. The analyst will also be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, providing actionable insights, supporting decisions through ad-hoc analysis and data profiling, and validating data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in source systems.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in the P&C insurance industry.
• Solid knowledge of the P&C insurance domain particularly policy & claims management systems.
• Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
• Strong with complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong in Source to Target mapping.

Responsibilities
