About The Position

Sungrow Americas is seeking a Technical (Cybersecurity) Project Manager to drive execution, coordination, and visibility across cybersecurity and IT-aligned initiatives. This role is responsible for turning strategy into execution - - ensuring that security programs, regulatory initiatives, and cross-functional projects are planned, tracked, delivered, and defensible. You will operate as the central coordination layer across cybersecurity, IT, engineering, and external stakeholders - - owning KPIs, reporting, documentation, and delivery discipline. This role is for someone who thrives in complex environments and can bring order, structure, and momentum to rapidly scaling programs.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in technical project/program management, preferably within cybersecurity, IT, or engineering environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains (GRC, AppSec, SecOps, Product Security)
  • Experience building and managing:
  • KPIs and performance metrics
  • Executive reporting and dashboards
  • Project plans and dependency tracking
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NERC CIP, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and documentation discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with security tooling and platforms (GRC tools, ticketing systems, etc.)
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar
  • Experience operating in global, cross-cultural environments

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of cybersecurity initiatives and cross-functional IT projects
  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery
  • Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and resource constraints early
  • Define, track, and report on cybersecurity KPIs and program health metrics
  • Build executive-level dashboards and reporting artifacts (board-ready)
  • Translate technical progress into clear business and risk-based updates
  • Establish consistent reporting cadence across all initiatives
  • Maintain centralized documentation for policies, projects, controls, and evidence
  • Ensure all initiatives are audit-ready and aligned to regulatory frameworks
  • Act as the primary coordination point between cybersecurity, IT, and engineering teams
  • Align cybersecurity initiatives with enterprise IT projects and dependencies
  • Ensure security requirements are integrated into broader technology initiatives
  • Establish and enforce project management standards, workflows, and tooling
  • Improve program visibility, predictability, and execution discipline
  • Introduce scalable processes for tracking, prioritization, and resource alignment
  • Continuously identify opportunities to reduce friction and increase throughput
