This position serves as the primary technical and video operations resource for the University of Oregon Women's Volleyball program. The Technical Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of video capture, editing, and exchange; statistical data collection and analysis; and technology systems management that directly support the coaching staff's ability to prepare student-athletes for competition. This position manages the program's video and statistical technology platforms, including film breakdown via Hudl and/or similar video platforms, DataVolley/Volleystation or VolleyMetrics data input and reporting, and opponent scouting film coordination. The Technical Coordinator works closely with the Head Coach, assistant coaches, and Director of Operations to ensure all technology resources are functional, current, and aligned with program needs. The position also supports day-to-day administrative operations of the volleyball program. The Technical Coordinator exercises independent judgment in managing tight pre-competition and post-competition timelines, coordinates directly with conference and national competition opponents for film exchange, and provides reporting to the Head Coach and staff. This position reports to the Head Volleyball Coach and has no supervisory responsibilities over full-time staff; however, may provide lead work and oversight to student managers or graduate assistants supporting video operations. This position requires availability for evening, weekend, and holiday work corresponding with the competitive schedule, including domestic travel to away competitions and postseason events.
