About The Position

Mercer Athletics is searching for an Assistant Coach for Women's Volleyball. The Assistant Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in conducting the program while following departmental and University policy.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree
• prior coaching experience (preferably at the Division I level)
• a valid driver's license
• insurable by the university's carrier
• Working knowledge of NCAA /Southern Conference rules in relation to women’s indoor and beach volleyball
• NCAA/Southern Conference recruiting exam that allows the coach to recruit off-campus
• Knowledge of sport-specific software used in player and team development
• Ability to carry the equipment necessary for setting up the volleyball court
• NCAA DI Recruiting Certification from NCAA/Southern Conference: Completed annually prior to July 31st
• Criminal history background check
• Approved Driver's check background check
