About The Position

This role will support a department initiative to identify, consolidate, and modernize compliance procedures across multiple teams and a diverse range of technologies and devices. The objective is to reduce fragmentation, eliminate duplicative procedures, and ensure compliance activities are consistently documented, managed, and updated. You will help align procedures with a centralized Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application to guide standardization, improve transparency, and enhance audit readiness across the organization. Responsibilities include streamlining procedural content, reducing the overall number of procedures, and helping establish a sustainable framework to keep documentation current, accurate, and consistently maintained over time.

Requirements

5+ years of directly related experience as a Technical Writer
Bachelor's degree
Technical Communication / Technical Writing
Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (especially for highly technical environments) / Science or Business (when paired with strong writing experience)
NERC CIP Compliance / compliance experience
Hands on experience working with NERC CIP compliance (e.g., CIP 002 through CIP 014)
Directly supported NERC CIP activities
Written, updated, or maintained compliance procedures, standards, or evidence documentation in a regulated environment
Coordinated compliance related projects involving multiple teams or stakeholders
Experience writing or maintaining various types of documents
