About The Position

The Technical Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s regulatory, compliance, sustainability, and technical documentation initiatives. This role will manage compliance-related programs including product audits (UL, NSF), SDS documentation and requests, sustainability and product testing coordination, and other technical compliance activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. This position offers significant opportunity for growth and expanded responsibility over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, environmental science, regulatory affairs, or related field preferred
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, technical services, quality, manufacturing, or chemical-related industries preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SDS management, audits, compliance documentation, or testing coordination preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database/document management systems

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory and customer compliance requests. Track deadlines, requirements, project timelines.
  • Assist with maintaining technical records and compliance documentation.
  • Manage product testing and certification, field evaluations, and audits. Coordinate documentation activities.
  • Identify and research new sustainability-related testing and initiatives
  • Maintain and organize Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documentation
  • Manage company SDS inbox and ensure a timely response to requests
  • Help interpret code requirements to develop and manage product specifications
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and organizational efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, technical, customer service and sales teams
  • Support additional regulatory, technical service, and compliance projects as assigned.
