Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of product testing and quality experience in an engineering environment.
• Proven experience with slot machines, peripherals, progressives, and slot systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to interpret gaming regulations for both systems and gaming machines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and offer internal mentorship.
• Effective oral and written communication capabilities, with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience crafting and reviewing technical documentation.
• Collaborative great teammate capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in unstructured environments.
• Diligent, highly accurate, and organized.
• This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Regulatory Notifications and Technical Bulletins effectively and promptly.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on compliance activities to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Advise management on trends and patterns impacting product and system approvals by regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on changes to rules, regulations, and legislative requirements across all gaming jurisdictions.
• Assess new and existing products for regulatory compliance and test products to ensure requirements are met.
• Lead collaboration between studios and collaborators to ensure product specifications adhere to gaming guidelines.
• Resolve regulator and test lab issues, crafting technical documents or white papers as necessary.
• Travel to regulatory labs to conduct hands-on testing and evaluation of Aristocrat products.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with regulatory agencies and test labs for technical discussions about company products.
• Lead and supervise regulated field trial processes and activities from pre-installation to completion.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to technical compliance.
• Maintain the Technical Compliance Jurisdictional Matrix for all development teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical compliance risks.
• Safeguard game integrity by enforcing regulations addressing technical issues and corrective actions.
• Advance regulatory issues and assign appropriate risk levels, ensuring effective communication to relevant teams.
