About The Position

Honest Networks is seeking a Technical Chief of Staff to serve as the operational backbone of the Network Engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution, project management, and cross-functional communication, ensuring that department priorities move forward, team stay aligned, and stakeholders—both internal and external—are kept informed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically fluent, and comfortable managing both people-facing and process-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Exceptional work ethic with a strong sense of ownership—you take initiative, follow through, and care about delivering high-quality work.
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders (e.g., building owners/stakeholders).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, networking, project management, or technical operations is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and drive execution of the Network Engineering department’s priority list, ensuring initiatives stay on track and roadblocks are surfaced early.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for communication and follow-up with other departments, keeping cross-functional work aligned and moving.
  • Own project management for corporate goals tied to Network Engineering, tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage the engineering ticketing queue, including oversight of staffing levels and performance across the queue.
  • Communicate directly with building stakeholders (building owners, property managers) and internal team members regarding network performance improvements, outages, and ongoing issues.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering leadership and other parts of the organization to ensure consistent, timely, and information flow.
