Under the supervision of the Molding Technical Supervisor, the Technical Cell Production Operator (TCPO) ensures that components are produced that meet or exceed customer expectations by performing the following duties. Requirements

  • Ability to perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers and necessary adjustments.
  • Ability to perform daily machine inspections.
  • Ability to re-start Molding machines after first-shot approval.
  • Ability to clean mold cavities.
  • Ability to hang mold tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machines and peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to enter data onto production and quality paperwork.
  • Ability to assist Molding CPO and PETs.
  • Ability to perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
  • Ability to ensure the safe operation of all equipment.
  • Ability to promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, AIB, and ISO.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers and necessary adjustments to insure processes are in control at all times.
  • Perform daily machine inspections.
  • Re-start Molding machines after first-shot approval.
  • Clean mold cavities.
  • Hang mold tools.
  • Troubleshoot the machines and peripheral equipment as needed.
  • Enter data onto production and quality paperwork.
  • Assist Molding CPO and PETs as needed.
  • Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
  • Within the confines of the job, ensure the safe operation of all equipment prior to turning it back over to running production.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, AIB, and ISO.
