About The Position

A Technical Business Analyst for SWIFT messaging bridges financial operations and software engineering. Key responsibilities include requirement gathering, SWIFT MT/MX message mapping, and agile delivery support.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in global payments, cash management, clearing, and settlement.
• Familiarity with data mapping, APIs, SQL, and XML schemas.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Finance plus 5 to 7+ years of dedicated business analysis experience in banking or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Convert complex payment workflows and business requests into actionable user stories and functional specs.
• Design and analyze SWIFT MT (legacy) and MX (ISO 20022 XML) message structures, mapping, and validation rules.
• Support connectivity projects linking internal back-office applications to SWIFT infrastructure (Alliance Access, Messaging Hub, or cloud solutions).
• Define functional test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and bridge communication between developers, QA, and stakeholders.
