About The Position

IntegriChain is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to manage the entire requirements-to-delivery lifecycle for their Data Warehouse (DWH) and analytics platform. This role serves as a crucial link between business stakeholders and the engineering team, responsible for investigating data issues, translating business needs into detailed specifications, and ensuring engineers can execute tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable working with SQL and data pipelines, and can operate autonomously.

Requirements

  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, or analytics engineering.
  • Solid SQL skills and the ability to work comfortably with complex data structures.
  • Ability to trace data through a pipeline from source to reporting layer and identify issues.
  • Experience writing user stories, documenting requirements, and working closely with delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a workstream independently from stakeholder conversation through scoping, investigation, and engineering handoff.
  • Must live in PA, NJ, or NY.
  • Must have valid work authorization that does not require future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Background as a Technical BA, Technical Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a data-heavy environment, with experience in both SQL-level investigation and written requirements delivery.
  • Exposure to healthcare and pharma data domains.
  • Familiarity with modern DWH tooling such as Snowflake or DBT.
  • Experience working in Agile teams with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements sessions with business stakeholders and operations users, focusing on asking the right questions, identifying unstated assumptions, and defining scope before project initiation.
  • Investigate data issues by tracing data flow from source tables through transformation layers to the reporting surface, documenting findings clearly for engineering action.
  • Translate stakeholder requests into engineer-ready specifications, including required data structures, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Document current data structures and platform behavior to ensure requirements accurately reflect the existing reality.
  • Write user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for platform enhancements.
  • Assist in prioritizing work with a product-oriented mindset, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and data quality.
  • Validate delivered work against acceptance criteria, confirming that the implemented solution matches the specified requirements.
