About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support digital and technology initiatives within a global pharmaceutical environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise with solid technical understanding, including data analysis, SQL, system integrations, and Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Expertise in creating: BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
Understanding of databases, data modeling, and enterprise applications.
Familiarity with basic programming concepts (Python or Java).
Experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile frameworks.
Experience with one or more of the following: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Lucidchart.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with business users and SMEs.
Translate business needs into detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Work closely with solution architects and developers to define system workflows, data models, APIs, and integration requirements.
Support Agile delivery teams through backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives.
Review and validate technical solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Define test scenarios, support UAT activities, and ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements and testing.
Analyze existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
Create process diagrams, workflow documentation, and business models using industry-standard tools.
Prepare project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
