We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst who identifies and advances high-value opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and workflow modernization. The position connects business objectives with practical technology execution by analyzing processes, systems, and data flows; translating business needs into clear requirements; and partnering with business and technology teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, user experience, and adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar technology-focused role.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, workflows, systems, and data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business users, developers, project managers, QA teams, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting AI, automation, machine learning, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms, databases, reporting tools, and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing workflow automation or business process modernization solutions.
  • Knowledge of direct mail, print manufacturing, order management, job tracking, data processing, or similar production environments.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Experience supporting change management and user adoption for new technology implementations.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and process modernization based on business value, feasibility, risk, and user impact.
  • Analyze current-state processes, systems, data flows, integration points, controls, and pain points; define future-state workflows and solution requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process maps, use cases, acceptance criteria, data requirements, and solution documentation.
  • Support AI-enabled solution development by defining use cases and expected outcomes, documenting business rules, validating model outputs, and ensuring appropriate exception and approval controls.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, evaluate solution concepts, resolve ambiguity, and build stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate with developers, data teams, project managers, testers, end users, and leaders throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria; coordinate or participate in system testing and user acceptance testing; track issues and validate business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, decisions, risks, dependencies, process changes, and implementation outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, workflow tools, and system enhancements that may reduce manual effort or improve operational performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, supporting communication, readiness, training, adoption, and realization of measurable business value.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to support changing business needs.
