About The Position

The Technical Associate I in the Gabrieli Lab at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research studies involving both children and adult participants, including neurodiverse individuals with diagnoses of autism, dyslexia, and/or ADHD. This role primarily involves participant outreach and scheduling, administering standardized behavioral assessments to measure language and cognition, coordination of testing scores and reports, operation of fMRI scanner (training provided), support for data analysis, and technical support for lab personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, education, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of two years of experience.
  • Highly organized.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment and sensitivity when working with children and families.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with research, database, and analysis tools.
