About The Position

The Technical Assistance Associate supports ECIC’s mission by designing and delivering high quality technical assistance, primarily consultation, as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Technical Assistance Associate works closely with Great Start to Quality Resource Centers and internal teams at ECIC to support the effective implementation of the annual scope of work for the Great Start to Quality Resource Centers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of experience in consultation, meeting facilitation and development of learning opportunities for adults in the early care and education field.
Proven success in the development and implementation of technical assistance at a regional or state-wide level.
Skilled in assessing needs, developing strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
Experience with data collection methods (e.g., surveys, interviews, observations).
Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work with diverse communities.
Proficient in remote work tools, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and data platforms like Survey Monkey.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external partners.
Designing and delivering individual and group capacity building opportunities to support successful implementation.
Providing consultation to ensure that required training and other scope of work deliverables are met by all Great Start to Quality Resource Centers.
Facilitating meetings with internal and external partners to support effective implementation.
Represent the organization as a skilled facilitator and subject matter expert.
Develop and implement annual technical assistance plan, track and review progress reports and deliverables, and create written materials necessary to support effective implementation and reporting.
Assist with the coordination and implementation of internal and external continuous improvement and evaluation activities.
Cultivate and manage new and existing relationships with partners at the state, regional and local levels of the early childhood system.
Support data collection, development of high-quality reports, issue briefs, explanations, and presentations.
Provide ongoing communications and coordination with any capacity building partners and vendors.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices and research to continuously improve technical assistance offerings.
Engage in cross-team collaboration and facilitation.
