About The Position

The Technical Architect Lead II (Application) is a senior data and AI architecture role responsible for defining end-to-end architectures for AI-powered data solutions, including intelligent agents, automation workflows, and multi-agent ecosystems across enterprise platforms. The role translates business requirements and operational workflows into scalable architectures for data, AI, integrations, security, deployment, and operations. The architect provides technical leadership across Architecture, Engineering, Security, Data, and Operations teams; establishes standards, governance frameworks, and reusable patterns; and defines security and responsible AI controls. The position also develops enterprise data architecture, integration strategies, canonical data models, API standards, knowledge-management frameworks, and approaches such as RAG for secure access to structured and unstructured enterprise data. This is an onsite, six-month contract-to-hire position in Auburn Hills, Michigan, limited to local candidates. The role calls for experience delivering application development projects and deployments for globally distributed customers, working across parallel projects and iterative, agile, and waterfall approaches, and contributing to both business transformation and information technology projects.
