Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Loan Lending & Credit is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and relational databases (e.g, SQL Server, Oracle) is required.
  • Demonstrated work experience delivering technology solutions using agile or scrum methodologies.
  • Strong ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts leading to resolution to keep assigned team focused delivery and quality.
  • Proficiency with a variety of project management tools such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills, including large group presentations.
  • Familiar with software design patterns, including database modeling and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of wealth management products and solutions is desired.
  • Working knowledge of core banking products (e.g. mortgage, deposits, forex, and money market) and solutions is desired.
  • Knowledgeable in finance and accounting within the banking industry is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the coordination of technical projects by acting as the liaison between the business users and various technology groups, both internal and external.
  • Works closely with business partners to understand the business systems, processes, challenges, and requests.
  • Performs technical analysis to identify data requirements and data sources.
  • Provides suggestions and recommendations on reporting, data analysis, and internal application enhancements.
  • Acts as a proxy owner to assist business owners to: Design, create, and document process flows/flow charts; Create business requirement documents, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, user interface mock-ups, and/or models for the development team; Create other technical documentation relevant to the project or task.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements by creating user stories with clear and concise acceptance criteria.
  • Assists in troubleshooting and identifying root causes of data-related production issues.
  • Supports ad hoc requests from business units, auditors, risk managers, and other internal teams on data-related matters.
  • In limited cases, performs user acceptance testing on behalf of business units that might not have the necessary expertise resident with the department to conduct such testing.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
